The brief

Steph wanted an interview series that felt unscripted: the same six questions to nine people, short, honest, on LinkedIn. My part was to make it watchable on the web and measurable afterwards.

What made it hard

Nine two-minute interviews is eighteen minutes nobody will sit through. The web version had to let people jump to the answer they wanted, and tell us which ones they did.

A player chaptered by question

Mux HLS stream, a custom player with one chapter per question, full-screen and phone layouts, and a GA4 event for every question watched.

An event dictionary before the launch

Every event named, documented and tested before the first post went out, so the numbers afterwards meant something.

Numbers that changed the next shoot

Viewers watch about fifty seconds of a two-minute interview. That shaped the next series: fewer, story-led questions and a shorter edit.
